Can I check my calendar information via SMS?
Google Calendar's SMS-notification option allows you to conveniently check your calendar just by sending a quick text message.
In order to use this service, you'll first need to register your cell phone number in your Google Calendar account. You can do this under "Settings" > "Mobile Setup."
Then, to receive calendar information, just send a text message containing one of the following commands to the shortcode "48368" (GVENT):
* Send "next" to get a notification regarding your next scheduled event.
* Send "day" to get a notification containing all of your scheduled events for the present day.
* Send "nday" to get a notification containing all of your events for the following day.
Keep in mind that this feature is only available in the United States at this time. Also, please note that calendar information is currently only available for events 24 hours in advance.
